Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine how the flipped classroom model has influenced university education during the COVID-19 pandemic, and compare it to other educational approaches such as collaborative learning and the hybrid model. A review of the current literature was carried out to highlight the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of each educational approach, as well as to present the experiences of some authors with the flipped classroom model in university education. According to the results, the flipped classroom model has been widely used during the pandemic and has proven to be effective in encouraging autonomous learning and student engagement. However, some limitations were also noted, such as students' need for access to technology and the additional time teachers must dedicate to preparing for flipped classes. Furthermore, both collaborative learning and the hybrid model were also found to be effective in university education during the pandemic, although they present challenges in terms of time management and coordination of activities between students and teachers.
