Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced teachers to adapt their teaching to the virtual format, and simulation using MATLAB has become a useful tool for teaching ordinary differential equations to engineering and science students. This paper reviews some studies that have analyzed the impact of using MATLAB in teaching differential equations during the pandemic and how it has affected student performance. The results indicate that the use of MATLAB significantly improves students' understanding of theoretical concepts and their ability to solve practical problems.
