The GITK Theology Research Group intends to respond with a serious, deep, academic, theological and transversal reflection to the needs that we live, within the Reason and Faith Area of the Salesian Polytechnic University, Quito Headquarters. The research group proposes to integrate their reflections in an interdisciplinary dialogue with the other lines of university research through the theological and spiritual challenges of our universal Catholic Church with an emphasis on the Latin American and Ecuadorian reality in order to be a voice that announces the Good News of Jesus Christ in the educational and social contexts in which we live; In this way, we try to make a contribution to the Academic Community, the Salesian Community and the Church.
