Organization profile

The GITK Theology Research Group aims to respond with a serious, deep, academic, theological and transversal reflection to the needs we experience, within the Area of ​​Reason and Faith of the Salesian Polytechnic University, Quito Campus. The research group proposes to integrate its reflections in interdisciplinary dialogue with the other lines of university research through the theological and spiritual challenges of our universal Catholic Church with emphasis on the Latin American and Ecuadorian reality in order to be a voice that announces the Good News of Jesus Christ in the educational and social contexts in which we live; In this way, we try to make a contribution to the Academic Community, the Salesian Community and the Church.
