Resumen
The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that near one billion children under the age of 18 have experienced some form of physical, sexual, or emotional violence. This panorama becomes much more complex in the case of children and young people with disabilities since, in developing countries such as Ecuador, there are no educational programs and technological tools that allow teaching notions of sexual violence prevention and healthy self-care. For these reasons, this article presents a proposal based on smart mirrors that combines educational techniques and artificial vision, and deep learning tools to teach these concepts to children and young people with or without disabilities. The proposal was initially validated by a group of 3 expert psychologists and tested with 6 children with various types of disabilities.
