Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to causing great suffering to all mankind, brought about profound changes in the functioning of society. In education, the changes were immediate due to the need to reconcile the continuity of this essential service with urgent practices of social distancing in disease prevention. In this sense, the flexible education (FE) modality was strategic during the pandemic and continues to be so today. Everyone had to try the non-face-to-face education modality and even the most change-resistant people are proving the effectiveness and potential of this way of organizing educational processes. Therefore, the permanent improvement of flexible educational processes is becoming a quality criterion and a differential observed by students and their families when choosing an educational institution.
