Organization profile

The GIIB – UPS Biomedical Engineering Research Group arises from the initiative of a group of UPS professors whose research area is Biomedical Engineering. The intention is to develop applied research that proposes solutions to the problems of Ecuadorian and international society, within the framework of biomedical engineering. As the first research group in the area of ​​bioengineering in Ecuador, it is committed to motivating with this experience the birth of similar initiatives in the country.
