Resumen
Business Process Management has been extensively discussed in the literature. However, the collaboration between process analysts, expert users, and decision-makers have been little explored. This is evident when Business Process Management is used as a Digital Transformation conductor. This research aims to generate knowledge for Business Processes Management in collaborative environments. Thus, this research presents an empirical study where collaborative strategies for Business Process Management focused on Digital Transformation were identified and analyzed. This work is framed in an initiative of Digital Transformation of Salesian Polytechnic University (UPS) of Ecuador. Using a case study, this document provides an overview of collaborative activities for process teams. This research reflects the importance of generating cooperative physical spaces, as well as, providing communication strategies. Conducting process lifting sessions was indicated as a good practice. Those results may be useful for process teams and managers of Higher Education who seek process improvement in their institutions.
