Resumen
A proposal is presented for the adaptation of activities that have an impact on the performance of students in common programming courses in engineering careers at the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana from Ecuador. The objective of this work is to establish a process that adapts curriculum activities related to grades. A longitudinal empirical-analytical research methodology is developed. Grades are collected from an LMS for performance analysis by course. Nine participating courses in the period from October 2021 to March 2022 and another nine, from April to September 2022. According to the results these adaptations are made from the set of available remedial activities. The process improves course performance from a model based on student outcomes and curriculum adaptations for deficient scores. An improvement in performance of 8% is evidenced, obtaining visible and satisfactory results.
