Abstract

The general objective of this research was to analyze gender violence in migrant women. It was based on a quantitative, documentary-bibliographic perspective. This in view of the fact that from the documentary review and the study of the social reality observed, the researchers have been able to infer reflective conclusions about the problem posed. In this process, research papers from peer-reviewed journals and graduate theses were analyzed, which allowed obtaining a theoretical body, which allowed the development of the subject matter and the elaboration of the respective results. It is concluded that it is necessary a revision and rethinking of the international agreements on migration matters by the countries of the world that allow the guarantees for the respect of the dignity of the migrant woman; they should be provided with accompaniment and advice regardless of the way they manage to reach the chosen country.
