Abstract

The present research work focused its object of study on the predominant personality traits in people who have tattoos, from the perspective of the integrative model focused on personality,considering personality as a result of several factors that intervene in the life of each person, being the tattoo our objective in this case. The participating population was a total of 50 young people between the ages of 20 and 30 who live in the city of Quito. The methodology used was quantitative and descriptive, since data collection was carried out using the SEAPsI test. The SEAPsI test has one hundred questions, divided into ten sections with ten questions each, these sections correspond to each type of personality reflected in the results. A predominance of the anacastic (48%) and histrionic (48%) traits was obtained, with a prevalence of the histrionic trait in women with 40% and anacastic in men, also with 40%. The present study seeks to establish an investigation that can open future studies directed to the personality related to the tattoo.
