Abstract

In the world of video games there is the genre of 'serious video games', in which there is a sub-genre called 'persuasive video games'. There we find games for change or 'video games for change'. We cannot forget that there are other types of video games very similar to the ones we are going to study. Serious games' (or serious games) are video games designed with the main purpose of teaching, informing, training or changing behavior in an effective way. These video games seek to combine the fun and interaction of games with a specific educational or training purpose (Sharratt et al., 2023).
