Abstract
The General Edition of the Salesian Polytechnic University together with the students of the last cycle of the Communication Career of the Cuenca-Ecuador branch, unite to solve a problem that concerns all our students and teachers: academic writing. They, being in the last cycle, know firsthand the main didactic-pedagogical scourges and also the grammatical pitfalls that could influence the practical development of an efficient academic-scientific writing. Therefore, this work aims to answer questions such as: Do our young people know how to write? What do teachers think about academic writing skills? Is there any way to benefit their learning? What do young people think about the link between academic writing and artificial intelligence? In short, this is a work of reflection, self-criticism and improvement of scientific-academic literacy attitudes written by the student body. We hope that they will remember their names and surnames when any of the proposals presented are put into practice.
