Fomento de la Inclusión Educativa de Personas con Discapacidad

The TICAD group (Information and Communication Technologies associated with disabilities of the Salesian Polytechnic University, Guayaquil, is developing a project to promote the educational inclusion of people with disabilities in schools in the cities of Guayaquil, Machala, Milagro and Peninsula de Santa Elena. Through this project, teachers who are part of the group, as well as volunteer teachers from other educational centers, will benefit 400 children and adolescents in these cities. The first part of the project consisted of introducing some tools that favor the process of educational inclusion supported by ICTs and in the second part these tools will be applied in a process of educational inclusion that will have the technical assistance of the TICAD group. The group promotes the transfer of knowledge on disability issues so that teachers in educational institutions can enhance their skills and abilities in the process of educational inclusion.
