The research group on Information and Communication Technologies associated with disability (TICAD) is dedicated to promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities through the development of innovative products and services in software and hardware. Its mission focuses on improving the quality of life of this group, positioning itself as a reference both nationally and internationally in research on educational, social and labor inclusion. Recognizing the relevance of ICT in inclusion, the group seeks to facilitate the autonomy of people with disabilities, collaborating with various entities to implement initiatives that promote good living. Additionally, TICAD involves people with disabilities in the development process of its projects, ensuring that their needs and opinions are considered in the research and development of new technological solutions.
