Abstract

The present research with the theme Stress levels in teachers of an Educational Institution of the city of Quito after the confinement by Covid-19, has as a general objective to identify the levels of stress in teachers working in an Educational Institution of the city of Quito post-pandemic, as well as to demonstrate its possible effects. We are based on a methodology with a quantitative approach, descriptive, non-experimental, transversal; through data collection through the application of the ED-6 Scale that measures Stress in Teachers, which consists of 77 items grouped into 6 subscales such as Anxiety, Depression, Pressures, Maladaptive Beliefs, Demotivation and Bad Coping, the same ones that allow to identify symptoms associated with Stress through a Likert scale, and their respective conversions from percentiles. We worked with a total population of 28 teachers who accessed the research while maintaining ethical criteria. It was evident that the total population maintains a high level of stress because it is in a percentile greater than 80, added to this it was identified that most of the teachers present significant symptoms within each of the subscales. It is recommended in future research to independently analyze whether this population already presents a mental disorder for subsequent therapeutic intervention.
