Abstract
To debate around Latin American community social psychology, and its challenges in the face of contemporary problems of indigenous peoples and nationalities of the region, it is convenient to reflective criticism in a double movement, ‘inward’ and ‘outward’ of discipline. Inward, in the sense of stressing and destabilizing the conceptualizations and approaches of psychologies that have been developed in Latin America, from the so-called crisis of psychology Social. And outwards, in the sense of promoting inter-epistemic dialogue with other disciplines, and with knowledge of the same peoples and indigenous nationalities. In turn, this reflective criticism also implies placing oneself from a exercise of ‘political-epistemic de (re) centering’ that, from a conscious and committed praxis, seeks to walk along with the struggles of our indigenous peoples and nationalities, stressing the ways production of dominant knowledge and redefining the purposes of said knowledge. And in this sense, it is essential place our praxis in the context of the so-called ‘civilizational crisis’, which which implies assuming that what is at stake is sustainability and projection of our ways of life.
