Abstract
The present work resulted in the study of the volatiles components in two fruit varieties highly appreciated as a food source in Ecuador. In the species Vasconcellea pubescens A. DC, 92.5% of its components were identified: ethyl hexanoate with 44.211%, ethyl butanoate with 12.352%, 1-octanol with 9.142% and linalool with 6.529%.
