The Research and Development Group in Sciences Applied to Biological Resources (GIDCARB) was created as a research entity linked to the study and assessment of the biological heritage present in the country. It is attached to the Centre for Research and Assessment of Biodiversity of the Salesian Polytechnic University and most of the projects and publications of its members have emerged as initiatives of this centre.
