Abstract
The luminaire design is based on studies that seek to bring the design of everyday objects both in homes and offices with features of the culture and fauna of Ecuador. Homology was found between the shell of a Galapagos tortoise with the morphology of a table lamp that allows creating a semi indirect ceiling lighting. The proposed design has symmetry on two axes, is double and assemblable.
