The objective of this paper is to analyze the possibilities of "pedagogical alternatives" in the Intercultural Bilingual Education Career (EIB) of the Salesian Polytechnic University of Ecuador (UPS). The reflection incorporates the categories of "intercultural education" and "intercultural pedagogy". The "critical pedagogy" and together with it the notion of amore-volezza, as the foundations of Salesian education at UPS, complete the elements of analysis for the understanding of the construction of the pedagogical subject, the result of pedagogical relationality in the educational practices of the EIB career. The reflection concludes by highlighting some of these alternative practices.
