Abstract
To bend to think that they do not exist or to boast in insensitive polarizations is the most reduced and foolish discourse. Humanitarian crises are present and uncomfortable. Therefore, this time, in an exercise of systematization but also of reflection, the young people of 2nd cycle of the Communication career of the Salesian Polytechnic University - Cuenca, dared to break paradigms and to professionalize their writing in the field of research by participating in the second installment of this collection. In the first one, 8th cycle students participated and focused on digital media, analyzing the cases of Haiti, Honduras, Venezuela, Russia-Ukraine, and Syria (Torres Toukoumidis et al., 2022). However, this time, a course that was just beginning to learn about the wide world of research, took on the responsibility of delving deeper into social networks and their relationship with humanitarian crises.
