Abstract
The little diffusion of traditional Ecuadorian music, the lack of spaces, academies and workshops with this approach has produced a lack of knowledge and insensitization towards a style that has its roots in the national territory itself; in turn, this lack of knowledge or precarious diffusion deprives future musicians of applying the harmonic, rhythmic and melodic musical richness offered by these genres in their future composition work, in their teaching methodologies or in the selection of repertoire for interpretation.
