Abstract

Additive manufacturing is one of the fundamental pillars of the so-called 4th Industri-al Revolution and is causing a technological and even social paradigm changes. That is due to the great opportunities for application that these types of technologies generate, many of which are still unexplored. Aware of the importance of quality education in this field, the Society of Manufactur-ing Engineering has promoted the development of this work to meet the need for quali-fied professionals in additive manufacturing in all its dimensions, such as students of the course "Additive Manufacturing Technologies" in the "Master's in Advanced Man-ufacturing Engineering" at UNED. To achieve this, a multidisciplinary team of authors from different Spanish universities and experts in each of the topics has been assembled.
