Abstract
This book unfolds and celebrates the potential of young people when it assumes and values their protagonism in pastoral, educational and social transformation work. Although it refers to the Salesian Youth Movement, the category that emerges with greater precision throughout the text is that of youth associationism, understood from the Salesian pedagogical experience based on youth protagonism. These pages gather trajectories of experiences and reflections and are inserted in a contemporary context of revaluation of youth agencies in all areas of socio-cultural life and pedagogical practices. At the same time, it proposes to take up again one of the distinctive features of Salesian pedagogy: to value youth associativity for its formative potential.
