Abstract
This article describes the basic dynamic simulation to study the implementation of the planfor renewal of domestic refrigerators in Ecuador, as energy efficiency policy stages model is presented. The model presented in the conceptual stage is completed by collecting information about the variables involved new refrigerators, old refrigerators, over the life cycle of refrigerators, plan applications, among others, required to solve the structural model of stock-flow diagrams or Forrester. Based on the developed simulation model of the impact that the renovation plan, in the saving power10 years into the plan in Ecuador is discussed. Using the model, is simulated in three scenarios to visualize the impact of different interventions that may occur.
