This article presents the system of equations used to describe the physical model of a chamber for artificially drying cocoa. The model corresponds to an equicurrent rotary cylindrical dryer and only the drying chamber is considered. The mass and energy conservation equations together with some correlations obtained as a result of experimental tests have been implemented in a component assembled on the EcosimPro platform. Finally, an analysis is made of the mass, humidity and temperature curves obtained after performing a simulation during 10 hours of system operation.
