Abstract
For the Red Estrado Ecuador, an in-depth study of the processes that have taken place over the last ten years in Ecuadorian education and their impact on the teaching profession and work was a priority, given that Ecuador has undergone a series of transformations that have provoked diverse views and tensions regarding the definitions of public education policy on the teaching issue (work, training and the teaching profession). The book includes fourteen articles organized in three sections: keynote lectures, teacher training and work, and various contributions. The multiplicity of positions presented in the articles reflects the plural view on the theme of the Seminar. The ESTRADO Network, Ecuador chapter, hopes that this book will contribute to the reflection on the work and teaching profession in our country and that the contributions of each author will deepen the educational debate.
