Abstract

To begin, it is necessary to situate the experience in the framework ofthe discussions on the relations between anthropology and anthropologyapplied, always based on the certainty noted by Marvin Harristhat the borders between the two are ultimately blurred(Harris, 2001, p. 452). The porosity and mobility of such borders, as wellas the perception of the relations between both dimensions havebeen key elements in the trajectory of the Anthropology CareerApplied. The truth is that the initiative was promoted with the objectiveexplicit not to train "academic anthropologists" to opt for aprofile of "applied anthropologists", that is, endowed with the capacities to accompany intercultural initiatives of various kinds in the territorios of diversity.
