Abstract

Job opportunities allow the human being to develop in an integral way, even more so, in the case of people with disabilities, since this helps to reaffirm their self-esteem and professional fulfillment. According to Ecuadorian regulations, companies that have a minimum of twenty-five (25) workers are required to hire 4% of people with disabilities. The objective of this article is to identify the level of labor insertion of people with disabilities at the Salesian Polytechnic University of Guayaquil. A bibliometric review was carried out to find out the countries in which articles have beenpublished in relation to the subject investigated. The descriptive cross-sectional research used as instruments the interview and an online questionnaire that allowed knowing relevant aspects of the labor insertion of people with disabilities, highlighting among them: the applied process, the analysis of the position with the required adjustments, the accessibility to the facilities, as well as the incorporation of assistive technologies. In this article, 100% compliance with the labor insertion of people with disabilities, including substitutes, was obtained as a result. It is recommended to continue with improvements in the accessibility of the facilities to promote real inclusion.
