Abstract
The study of the processes that take place in the educational context requires a basic understanding of education as a social fact. This essential orientation in the progressive line of thought considers that educational activity involves several variables related to the economic, social and cultural context. There are also conditioning factors related to the educational system, educational policy, the characteristics of the subjects, the features of educational systems, the advances of pedagogical science and other educational sciences, as well as didactics and other disciplines related to teaching and learning.
