Elaboración de un Plan de Implementación de la Iso/iec 27001:2013 En la Ies

This book is a compilation of research topics in the field of computer science, which deals with current issues in Ecuador, providing solution strategies to problems identified in three fundamental aspects: geographic information systems, information security management systems, and general information systems. During the research process, an essential comparison of open source ETL (Extract - Transform - Load) type technological tools is made, together with an analysis of their advantages and disadvantages; the different models of Project Management processes are represented using the Software & Systems Process Engineering Metamodel SPEM 2.0 specification. The second aspect of this work allows us to focus our efforts on issues related to information security. It is based on the importance of the company's information as a fundamental asset representing a competitive advantage. The third aspect of this text consists of elaborating an implementation plan of ISO/IEC 27001:2013; the difference between terminology in information security and information security issues is highlighted. Finally, the research contribution of this work is based on the study of the problems of the geographical factor in the Catholic University of Cuenca, its branches, extensions, and academic units, in which computer solutions have been provided for educational management.
