Abstract
Water is the most important element for all living beings; its availability is fundamental for all known forms of life, however, in ancient times it was not given the due importance that this natural element required. In the 19th century, the first analyses were made that not treating it properly could cause countless infectious diseases. From that moment on, water was given an evaluation, bearing in mind that its quality could be degraded.
