Abstract

The impact that the spread of COVID-19 brought to Latin American societies is still the subject of analysis and study. In the educational context, schools and universities received a transcendental change not only at a pedagogical level but also at a social level, due to the fact that educational environments have become scenarios for human coexistence, where socialization, play, what recreation and even the security they provide became necessary for everyone, which is why these institutions are an essential space for society that was clearly affected by this deadly pandemic.
