Abstract

It was proposed to conduct a research that sought to stress the center-periphery relationship and find the difficulties born within the Bolivarian University of Venezuela in order to propose solutions that enable its decolonization, a task of utmost importance and relevance. Based on these considerations, this research proposes to analyze the State-University-Subject relationship from a decolonial perspective, taking as a reference the academic-research and socio-community processes experienced at the Bolivarian University of Venezuela, approached from the qualitative research paradigm inscribed in the critical approach, since it responds to the subjective, dialectical and dialogical elements that build the university reality and its relationship with the State and the subjects that comprise it.
