Abstract
This article proposes to rethink contemporary dance with the aim of moving it towards new scenic conventions capable of linking the spectator actively in creative processes, production and creation focused on the development of a new category of Relational Dance. In this sense, the change of traditional scenic convention is analyzed from the viewpoint of theatricality; spatiality as a containment for a change in the spectator's role; relational dramaturgy as a builder of scenic interstices between stage-spectator and the functionality of dance towards new cultural structures of movement and action. This research is based on a qualitative analysis from the documentation and the scenic praxis, given that Relational Dance implies the fact of being able to configure it through the transformation of references that come from other scenic perspectives, thus proposing to reflect on the current scenic processes, which give an action to the spectator, allowing him to discover levels of relationship and annexation to the process of representation from his subjectivity, capable of structuring relational devices and drawing new perceptions between the limits of art and life, providing a new approach for its construction and dissemination in the current scenic.
