Abstract

The present research is focused on the study that refers to psychological well-being from a positive approach, without placing an emphasis on the classic study of psychology that focuses on the study of pathologies or disorders, therefore, psychological well-being is refers to satisfaction in various aspects that are perceived as happiness, which are elements that participate in our daily lives, so we also estimate positive and negative perceptions, having some variables that can infer how we feel, such as sociodemographic situation in which we find ourselves. The participating population was a total of 97 workers belonging to a public institution in Quito who have expressed discomfort during this period during the work day. The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive and transversal, therefore, the results obtained through the Excel program will be analyzed. The Psychological Wellbeing Scale Test was applied, which consists of 65 questions, 30 on subjective psychological well-being, 10 on material well-being, 10 on work well-being and 15 on well-being in couples, evaluated according to the author's manual. . In relation to the male gender, global well-being is presented predominantly on this variable, in contrast to the female gender, which is presented to a greater extent. This research seeks to clarify the current state of mental health in the vulnerable group, thus being ableto promote projects or activities that promote and preserve the integrity of mental health and psychological well-being in public servants.
