Abstract
The work presented below seeks to establish an analysis of psychosocial intervention from an epistemological perspective in the context of practice in Ecuador; Hence, it starts from an analysis of psychosocial practices in the aforementioned context, to give way to a foundation of evidence-based practice, in order to identify the theoretical and epistemic foundations that are behind these two fundamental elements for the development of the psychosocial intervention through a descriptive, non-experimental methodology based on a hermeneutic analysis of reality, where an inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic study of documentary review was carried out that allowed the theoretical and epistemic foundation of the essential elements of psychosocial intervention, in order to establish a concrete analysis of the importance of psychosocial intervention from an evidence-based practice in the discussion of results.
