Asesino Serial Juan Fernando Hermosa: Una Mirada desde la Victimología

Juan Fernando Hermosa, a teenager from the Shushufindi canton, where he was born on February 28, 1976, who, in his first days, after birth, was transferred by his mother to the city of Babahoyo in the province of Los Ríos, where at the age of one year and two months, due to the precarious conditions in which they lived with his biological mother and his older sister, He is given up for adoption by his mother to his new family, Don Olivo Hermosa Fonseca and Mrs. Zoila Amada Suárez, who have taken him from Clemente Baquerizo, city of Babahoyo, province of Los Ríos, to his home in a populous neighborhood in the north of Quito. The objective is to make a victimological profile of a serial killer in order to find main characteristics in his operandi mode. A bibliographic-descriptive methodology based on search engines of reliable information sources was used to compile and analyze them. The results showed that Juan Fernando Hermosa in his criminal configuration is present family, social, environmental factors that feed such behavior. In conclusion, it is evident that there are elements that become relevant in the structuring of a subject.
