Abstract
We currently live in an interconnected world, in which the media contribute to the projection of the existence of human beings in a digital and multiplatform ecosystem, through which we experience portions of reality, as McLuhan maintains, particularly those that are most difficult access. The web or network is a true anthropological space, where people develop their existence based on dynamics, rules and languages of a specific context, expressions of cyber-culture. The work proposes a reflection on the new challenges of education in the digitized context in relation to the proposal of Don Bosco's preventive system as a pedagogical model for training in emerging scenarios. In particular, the contributions that are reflected in each chapter help to answer a cross-cutting question to the work: is it possible to accompany young people in the digital space? Professors, researchers, religious and professionals from Brazil, Ecuador, Spain, Italy and Venezuela present their answers offering the reader reflections, visions, experiences and expectations regarding their work as educators, scientists, managers and communicators of international scope and, above all, digital. The work presents 15 contributions articulated in chapters and organized in three sections.
