Abstract

In this research we sought the implementation of SDN networks in university laboratories, in order to optimize internet traffic, assessing the needs of each of the departments that may exist in a university campus, based on this it was proposed to compare the type of work that is done in each department and analyze which are the laboratories that require a greater demand for bandwidth. From the technical point of view, we worked based on standards imposed by the respective telecommunications authorities, seeking as always to do an impeccable job with results of the highest quality. An approach was also made from the deontological point of view, considering values such as honesty, respect among others, because it is always important to perform work of the highest quality, but we cannot forget the fundamental values that define us as good people. Here it can be seen that sometimes we do not work in the right way, since many professionals do not have good ethics because they are only looking for their own benefit without thinking about the needs and resources of others.
