Abstract

The progress of the small business in the last 11 years has had to modify its strategies due to the decrease in sales in the bakery and pastry shop, in the city of Pujilí. The reason for choosing this type of venture is the experience that one of the family members had and the demand that existed in the area, since there was no store, none that offered this product. Professional deontology includes formulating and improving a set of norms and values for the development of professional activities, and is responsible for formulating ethical standards for the development of its activity through universal values recognized by all. Although it focuses on these settings, it is more specific when used in a fully functional environment. We present an alternative for the small businessman to grow with motivations not based on capital, but on the improvement of the community and good living. For this reason, we start from the egoism of the person in charge of the business since the person in charge had the growth of the company but not in society.
