Resumen

In recent years, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, can describe that this unexpected process at a global level has affected since its initial outbreak in Wuhan, China, in December 2019, and that has generated an unprecedented health crisis. This new virus called coronavirus, or also called SARS-CoV-2, has caused millions of cases and has claimed the lives of a large number of people around the world. Faced with this situation, governments and Health organizations in all countries have taken drastic measures to contain the spread of the virus and protect the population. It can be said that the COVID-19 pandemic has had asignificant impact on all aspects of life, health, well-being of people, global economy among others. They have also been implemented social distancing measures, quarantines and closures of borders, which has generated changes in the way we interact, We work and interact. Furthermore, the development and the distribution of vaccines have been crucial in the fight against this sickness. In this context, the World Health Organization (WHO)has played a fundamental role in the coordination of the international efforts to control the pandemic and provide guidance to all countries on best practices in prevention, detection and treatment of the virus. Measures have been implemented permanent monitoring of the population to locate and control the sources of contagion, with the aim of reducing the spread of the virus.
