Resumen
This paper analyzes the application of nonlinear optimization in the localization of LoRaWAN base stations at a point equidistant from the sensors located within the base station coverage. Specifically, in the proposed model, we obtain the optimal location of the base station based on the geographical location of the sensors, the coverage parameters specified for urban and rural areas established in the LoRaWAN technical specifications, and a coverage error factor set out in previous LoRaWAN studies. We conclude that such a model is feasible and allows optimizing the location of a LoRaWAN base station.
