Resumen

This present investigation revels the importance of integral development in girls and boys in first years of their life, because in this period they were establish their fundamental pillars so that they can function adequately. In addition, this document pretend analyze the way of who this development is being stimulated, with objective to examining whether or not within educational processes a learning based on development of cognitive, motor, social and emotional dimensions at students is being promoted or not in initial education classroom II at Children's Center of Quito City. This investigation has to qualitative methodology, with a direct observational study anchored to a field diary and semi-structured interview of 20 questions performed to teacher of initial education II and institution director, instruments that allowed to collect relevant data, to verify how much comprehensive development is applied. The information obtained within the activities performed of teacher, they were only focused more on the development the cognitive and motor dimensions of their students, forgetting the emotional dimension, which is fundamental part for them to obtain their integral development. Concluding that, within the educational processes, the integral development of the students of the institution is not being promoted, producing an imbalance in the acquisition of their abilities. Something that suggests these strategies should be reinforced by the authors of education to promote integral development.
