Abstract
The expansion of neoliberal capitalism, as well as the imposition of the values of the capitalist system, entails the reordering of the blocksthroughout the world, especially its legal apparatus and itsspatial organization. In Ecuador, the rearrangement of space responds tothe various projects that the State considers necessary for economic growth and the modernization of the productive sectors, for example: highways, hydroelectric, airports, telecommunications, among others. As a whole,This series of works aims to generate commercial exchange networksand exercise control in areas that are on the periphery, but that, at the same time, time, constitute the center of the capitalist economy. This research presents a reflection on the rearrangement of space and the Organic Law forthe Comprehensive Planning of the Amazonian Special Territorial Circumscription(LOPICTEA), approved by the National Assembly of Ecuador on May 102018. The chapter includes four sections. The first discusses the relationshipbetween the State, territory and Amazonian peoples. The second deals with thetensions between the state, capital and indigenous peoples. The third takes up thediscussion on the society-nature tension. Finally, an analysis on capital, work and Amazonian peoples is presented.
