Abstract
The Nigeria neighborhood is the epicenter of this ethnographic work. It gives voice to those who have not had a voice: the inhabitants of a peculiar neighborhood in the city of Guayaquil. Their testimonies, their daily activities and the history of the neighborhood organization is the mirror of a plural country. Framed in the line of educommunication, this book proposes the implementation of communicational methodologies for the diffusion and promotion of interculturality. Their way of life, their customs, the traditions rooted in the Afro-descendant population, are part of these pages. This publication is the result of the project Educational-communicative tool to disseminate the interculturality of Barrio Nigeria (HEDIBANI), produced by UPS CHANNEL TV.
