Abstract
Few studies have been carried out in Ecuador to analyze the relationship between the supply of products of the metal-mechanic industry in the city of Guayaquil and international trade. It is worth mentioning the progress made so far by this industry in recent years, progress that has occurred not only at the local level, but also at the national level, demonstrating the dynamism and importance of this industry which, despite the difficulties that arise along the way in business activities and international trade, seeks to continue to develop further.
