Abstract
The essential raw material of this industry is steel, which is transformed and assembled. This industry integrates industrial equipment from which a diversity of steel products, wires, laminates, etc. are obtained. Globally, the metal-mechanic industry generates market dynamics, mainly in the construction of parts and pieces. According to research conducted by Pro Ecuador (2016), it is emphasized that this industry is part of the supply chain of raw materials for other industries.
