Abstract

The book “A camera in the street. Cuenca through the lens of photojournalist Vichi Tello” offers the possibility of knowing and understanding the process of building images that narrate the history of the city of Cuenca and the province of Azuay through the camera of Vicente Aureliano Tello Tapia. Don Vichi, as his closest friends know him, has contributed to the development of both the photojournalist profession and the historical and cultural heritage of Cuenca, addressing the daily life of the city and its protagonists.
